Jerry Lynn Tomlinson

Jerry Lynn Tomlinson, a loving father, brother, uncle, cousin, and grandfather, passed away on April 15, 2024, at Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehab home in Corpus Christi, Texas following a short illness. Born on March 26, 1946, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1966. Jerry had a successful career as a Heavy Equipment Operator running Cranes, and worked for the Memorial Coliseum as a Stage Manager where he met countless Musicians. He then went back to running cranes until his retirement in 2012. Jerry was known for his sense of humor, dancing, music, and love for the Dallas Cowboys. You could find him rooting for the Cowboys with his brothers faithfully every Sunday.
He was a man of many talents, loved to fish, he would fix anything that was broke, and he never met a stranger. Jerry is survived by his children, his daughter Melanie Tomlinson, his sons Andrew Tomlinson, Timothy Tomlinson and daughter in law Sierra Tomlinson, his sister Oweita Augsburger, brothers Leman Tomlinson and sister-in-law Carol Tomlinson, Tommy Tomlinson and Clara Tomlinson. Along with 4 grandchildren; Jeremyah Tomlinson, Chloe Tomlinson, Jayme Tomlinson, and Charlie Tomlinson, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on April 27, 2024, from 11:00am – 4:00pm at 4242 Laguna Shores Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78418.

Jerry will be remembered for his love of his family and doing the things he loved most, fishing, watching Price is Right, and Let's Make a Deal. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Leman and Mary Lee Tomlinson, and brother Milton Tomlinson.
